Does LG-4120B Officially Support Bitsetting

does the firmware A104 at the LG website

make the 4120B officially supprt bitsetting for dual layer +r?

I couldn't find a difinite answer on the search here

LG's site just says:

Enhanced the recording quality of DVD+R DL & DVD+R media


is there a story to this?

Well, technically it does because there is proof of latent support with the beta firmware NOAD. My guess is that ether LG hasn't perfected their bitsetting firmware or they just don't care. Use the freeware bitsetting tools found in the threads of this board, they work fine ;)
