i just bought 4- 25pack DVD+R Radius tech. total 100 discs for $27.96 at amazon.com $6.99 each 25pack
they are made by optodisc and i was just wondering how good/bad they are.
i wasn't sure if i should put in the good deals section.

Hrm.... well, your burners MIGHT be able to burn them okay.... but most don't. Optodisc's 8x DVD+Rs are better (still not great).

thanks

i hope 28.00 for 100 pack is worth it.
are they atleast better than PRINCO or as good as 4x CMC?

When I get home I'll check my scans... I should have some tests run from back when I was using the NEC 2500a regularily. It's sitting outside my case now, since I'm out of room :P

Sorry it took so long! I checked my scans for the Optodisc 4x DVD+Rs, and the 2500a with Herrie's 1.07 firmware should burn ok. I only burned one disc mind you, but the error rate was quite reasonable for that burn, according to Plextools on the PX-712a.

Hrm... I wouldn't suggest pushing them to 8x personally... but it's your call
