8x DL media in Q1/2005

). Apparently these will be available from Verbatim, Ricoh and Philips at the end of Q1/2005. It's not clear if current burners will be able to write these at all- a firmware update will be required in any case. Same applies to coming DL media fabricated with the incerse stack method.
They didn't say anything about pricing, but it probably won't be cheap initially.
