BestBuy in Canada has it for $100. I have a feeling this is the same as BenQ 1620. Any information you can give me on this drive would be appreciated.

It's made by Cyberdrive themselves. However its similar to the BenQ as they both use a Nexperia chipset.

CyberDrive is a doughter company in Taiwan(who makes the drives)
of CyberHome(who makes the standalone DVD players and recorders).

The sites of CyberDrive in Taiwan/Germany and US are not up to date!
At the CyberHome site you will find more pictures and F/W update.
