Hi Team,
I need some help here.I have a Nec-2510 drive. i had f/ 2.16,then 2.17 then Mad dog 2.f7 and 2.f8. I havent burn any DL dvd for a while (since original f/w version) Today i tried to burn a movie and the error message comes up "source is too large" then i flashed it back to 2.16 now its coming up the media is not compatible.I am using verbatin 8.5 DLD media. Please help me what should I do? What is the best f/w for my machine now. Hope someone can help me ASAP.

Try using the 2F8RPC.rar firmware, and use the necflash_wingui.zip flash utility. Let us know if you get it working.

is there anyway you can give me the guide and the flashing software?

Thanks buddy. i followed your direction and got it working. Burned the Troy and Seems same as original. Great firmware.
