After my misadventure with the Benq 1620, I ordered the NEC 3520 and would like some feedback on which brands of media seem to have the best compatibility. Thanks.

I agree with spryfly. I'm using TDK "Made in Japan" 8X +R and burning at 16X. Couldn't be happier.

Sounds like I might have to buy this online. I get my discs at either Compusa, Best Buy or OfficeMax/Depot. Any good places?

The TDK media is only 2X. Can the 3520 burn it at at least 8X?
