Lightscribe Article (review?) @ PC World

Judging by the authors comments, he was able to test an HP 640i.

And, what about the price of "compatable" discs? :cry: My guess is that these discs will make an inkjet printer look like a not-so-bad investment.
I also can't help wondering what happens if you leave such a labeled disc in the heat or light, will it all turn one color? Will a nice hot DVD player burn it?

Perhaps, but forget about the label, what about your data?!?!? Optical disc ARE light and heat sensitive, common sense says that you keep em cool and dark. :o

This ones obvious, HP needs to send Ian a 640i and a stack of media. :)

Yes, that would be nice. HP's PR people have talked to us about it, but their communication skills are lacking. Taking WEEKS to reply back to emails is not acceptable. Oh well.. hopefully BenQ will come through.
