The 712A is a great burner for single discs (4.7 Gigabytes)
and the 716A dual layer burner has had some great
reviews lately. I have the Plextor712A and it is a great ripper.
However, I use Nero 6 for burning; not the OEM Roxio suite.

716/3520/BQ/LG/109

Take your pick and surf for the lowest price. The BQ 1620 is $52 shipped at newegg.com.

Last week I picked up the 716 at BUY.COM for $79 shipped after rebate!

Staples is having a great two day sale. If you are near a Staples then go and be there when it opens.

To answer your question, I would get the 716 if the price is right. The 109 with new firmware would be my second choice. But for everyday all around burners, it is hard to beat NEC.
