How do I backup my stuff with DVD+R?

I have several PC games that take up more than 1 CD just for that particular game. I'd like to back these CD's up to my Fuji TY DVD+r's but I can't figure out Nero to do this.

I've made a "Copy CD" for each disc (just one of the games so far) and it made an Image on my Harddrive. However when I open this up, Nero doesn't let me burn it to DVD+R. What am I doing wrong?

You'll have to burn images on DVD+R. More standard are ISO and BIN images, but for copy protected games you should make images with CloneCD, Blindwrite or Alcohol 120%.

A CD image is different than a DVD image(CD uses ISO9660,DVD uses UDF) and you can only burn one image per disc. What you want to do is drag the entire CD contents into a folder on desktop then name the folder. When done transferring all CD's to desktop then in Nero select Data and burn the DVD:multisession(do not finalize) so you can add more later.
BTW...only XP/2000 support multisession DVDR.

Han is right.

Back up your game cd's with CloneCD, Alcohol 120% or Blindwrite.
I like to make mine .iso or .mdf (alcohol file).

When I have enough of them, I just burn a data DVD (not an image, but a true data DVD). The DVD will have your games in .iso or what ever format you chose.

That's what I've done with mine. Works fine when you need to restore a damaged game cd.

Ok I'm gonna use DVD shrink to Rip movies and select only what I need (video and english track). Then I'll use Nero's Recode to burn to DVD+R. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Just did my first disc (Toy Story) my goodness it's beautiful!

Gonna back up all my Pixar collection before my kids and my niece do further damage (a few light scratches, nothing major). They can just use the DVD'rs now =D>
