BenQ 1620 Pro firmware question

Is the firmware for the 1620 Pro the same as the regular 1620 now? I don't see anything for the "Pro" model on The Firmware Page.

Current firmware for the 1620 is listed as B7U9 there, which I'm guessing is the right firmware.

I don't have the drive yet, I just ordered it from Newegg for $79 - including (in the box!) a 25-pack of 52x CD-R's & a 25-pack of 16x DVD+Rs! Nice bundle :)

Yep, they are the same. The 1620 and 1620 PRo are the same hardware, with version B7P9 and later of the 1620 FW adding 4X +R DL capability, hence the "Pro" nomenclature.

Careful, if you ordered a OEM (non-retail) Benq 1620 PRO the firmware will be different. Benq OEM drives are relegated to their own set of firmware, currently not found on The Firmware Page.
