Are those TYs the ones that using a Plextor 716 I'd be able to burn at 16x?

Those TY discs? If I remember right, they do work at 16x on the 716A.

I have the TYG03 (16x DVD-R) using it on my PX-716A is great. I would recommend paying the extra bit of money for the TYG03. I'm a RIMA guy though, so:

yes for the price difference get yourself a gaurenteed burn at 16x with TY TYG03 media
