I got my 716AL today and it didn't come with PlexTools whereas my 716SA did. Any reason?

It's Plextor's way to try to force you to buy PlexTools Professional XL! It's a technique Plextor is using to make more money--forcing users to buy a paid version of Plextools (PlexTools Professional XL), instead of including a free version (Plextools Professional).

My PX-716AL came with Plextools Pro. 2.17 on disk 10.01. I'm having a few CDR problems as mentioned in this thread. Hows does yours perform? At this point I'd trade you Plextools for a drive that can write properly.
