i loved nero, but as a lot of us, i'm finding it bloated.
i just want a simple burning program, not vision, audio editor, picture stuff
is the nero engine that good?
i'm thinking of switching to VSO's CoptToDVD which i hear is good
is the burning engine as good...
or can anyone recommend anything else.
i use alcohol for images, but need something for data
thanks

yeah, most people around here use Nero.

if you buy Nero 7, then you can install Nero Burning ROM without all of the other components (Nero Express, BackItUp, Wave Editor etc.).

i'm moving this to the DVD Recordable forum

You could try K3B running under linux.(You can use knoppix if you don't want a real linux installation. ) - It seems to give higher burn quality on my Pioneer 106D as NERO. :o

I'm going to use RecordNow Max 4.61 for my single-layer DVD burning needs til they pry it from my cold, dead hands.

(or til all of my drives break and no one hacks RNM to support them anymore!)
