btw, this is the 1st LG burner I have come across which has +R (SL and DL) booktyped as ROM by default.

So it uses Prolific 2507? Don´t know this chip, but looks like it works good

Yeah.. oddly enough the 4167B doesn't do this.

I heard rumors that newer 4166 uses FW 1.01, but it´s not avaible for download?
