I have bought an ASUS 1608P2B DVD writter. It is actually an Pioneer DVR-110 OEM. However, it didn't come with the DVD-RAM driver. I cannot find it in neither in the ASUS webe site nor the Pioneer web site. Can anybody help?

hello raymondchan (Ranymond Chandler ?), welcome to CDRLabs.

doesn't the drive come with Nero's InCD? InCD let's you write to DVD-RAM and no need for special drivers. LG's Super-Multi drives come like that.

Previously. I was using LG 4040 which comes with a BHA software. This software allows me to format the DVD-RAM discs, it also make a dirve letter for me to use the DVD-RAM disc as a hard disc. I don't want to use InCD because I want to be compatible with my old DVD-RAM disc already saved.

Hmm.. InCD supports most, if not all, versions of the UDF format. It should let you at least read your old discs, right?

Otherwise you can get updates for BHA's DVD-RAM driver here:

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the ASUS or the Pioneer its based on is supported.
