hi,

What would be the best writer to go for , i use mainly dvd-r discs & also
overburning cd-r media.
Iwould also like to burn labels to discs " LIGHTSCRIBE OR LABELFLASH". Which one is the best allrounder.
many thanks,
dell.

Well.. if you want to burn labels and you're from the US, you're probably better off with the DW1655. I have yet to hear of any US companies offering Labelflash media so even if you were able to find a store selling the ND-4551A, you'd be SOL.

To me LightScribe is the winner in quality and contrast. Discs have for the moment a gold background. Blank DVD are currently MCC003.

Labelflash is not available yet, a Nero 6.6.1.3 CD is needed (at least the LLS.DLL) and is not on nero.com yet. The background color is an awfull blue on Fuji (with Ritek mid inside : big crap) blank DVD (not available yet). The only positive thing in LabelFlash is the Disc@tatoo possibility on the data side of any media.

Hello!

Both drives are good. But the Benq looks to be a better allrounder because of a bit better write-quality and much better error-correction.

LS and LF donĀ“t matter to me
