DVD-R/W fails to recognize DVD's
Posted: Thu Dec 07, 2006 2:54 pmThe Liteon SOSW-852S in my Acer Travalmate 4001 does not recognize any DVD's (including regular prerecorded ones).
It has no problem playing CD-ROMs or CD's.
When a DVD is introduced, it seems like the player is tryning to read the DVD (starting over and over again).
Would this be a software problem, or a hardware prob (dirty lens ?)
