I'am needing help finding internal dvd burner that comes with the software included.I'am needing a dvd burner with IDE interface

Welcome to CDRLabs gamergrandpa. If you buy a retail boxed drive, it will most likely come with software. Unless noted, OEM/bare drives do not come with anything.

As far as recommendations go, the Pioneer 112 series and some of LG's more recent drives are very popular right now.

Okay,retail is fine.But from where?I'am disabled and not able to go out that much;so I have to order online.

Personally, I order most of my computer hardware from Newegg.com or Zipzoomfly.com. Both places are pretty good about noting which drives are retail or OEM.

I can't find the Pioneer on ZZF or Newegg, but here is the retail version of the Pioneer DVR-112 which is one of the best drives on the market:

Currently $69.99 but goes on sale fairly regularly... (to like $49.99) if you're willing to wait.

At this point I couldn't recommend LG to people. They make good drives but don't support them past 1-2 firmware updates. (Firmware updates help the drive work better-- create better discs, etc) Pioneer seems to stick with models until they're working very, VERY well before moving on to the next unit.

LG does make a good drive, but it frustrates me as well that they just shove another model out the door. Guess there is something to their business practice that makes them money this way, but I don't like it... But I do own two LG's and prefer them over the Pioneer for quality in engineering. I had two DVR-212D's that had one quirk or another... One would not burn CD-R's, one would not read anything it burned (but the other drives did) and the third finally works. I do think it produces outstanding burns, but I have little faith in their QC.

I won't even consider a LITE-ON or SONY drive. Given my misfortune with Pioneer, I would still recommend it over either LITE-ON or SONY any day.

Well,I've got to have IDE ;so that leaves it up to the Pioneer 112D
