Vote for what you think is the best, all around DVD writer. By doing so, you'll hopefully help those looking to buy a new drive. Once again, I tried to chose original drive designs that are currently available or will be soon.

Feel free to leave comments and an explanation as to why you voted the way you did. Also, if there's a drive you'd like to see added to the poll, let me know.

For reference, here's the top drives from September's poll:

1. Samsung SH-S203B/SH-S203N
2. LG GSA-H62N/GSA-H62L
3. (tied) Pioneer DVR-111/DVR-111D/DVR-A11, Pioneer DVR-112/DVR-112D/DVR-A12 and Plextor PX-760A/PX-760SA

The Plextor PX-760A/PX-760SA is getting sent off to the hall of fame after this month. I know you guys and girls like it, but you can't buy it anymore. Some of the LG and Samsung drives are also going to get dropped from the poll as there are way too many of them.

The Plextor PX-760 is still the best burner for non Verbatim DVD+R DL (and probably Verbatim MKM-001 & 003)

I also voted for the h62. It burns most disk the same or a bit better then my Samsung s203b so far, but I found another dirt cheap deal so going to try one more just to see if it is any better.
It's not horrid, just not as great as some of the burns I've seen and the 62 just seems more consistent so far. For regular disk I still like my 1655 best 8)

Yes, the H62N burns DVD's very well, but not CD-R's... I get great results from 2 out of 3 of the SH-S203B's I have... The other one is average. Overall I give the edge to the SH-S203B because of CD-R writing... But I do use my LG GSA-H62N in a eSATA case.
