Please recommend a silent 20x SATA DVD Writer

After reading the review of Samsung SH-S203B 20x writer here, I was inclined towards buying it. However I was later browsing thru Asus's site, and they have made claims that their 20x SATA DVD writer is pretty quiet.
So assuming that there is not much performance difference between the Samsung and the Asus Drives, which one is more silent?
Are the Sony or LG 20x SATA writers quiet or noisy?
I have a LiteOn 16x IDE drive that makes quite a racket when reading or writing. So I've ruled out the LiteOn drives.
