Is anyone else having troubles with this drive?

I have troubles with it when I use lightscribe with it. More specifically, when i drop the LS disc in to burn the LS on it, it sit there and spins like crazy and wont spin down and subsequently will give me a communication error from SureThing Label.

I have one but I haven't tried LightScribe yet. I'll give it a try this weekend and see if I can duplicate the problem.

quick update,

I re-did the firmware (no upgrade) and instead of having the disc in the drive prior to the program prompting me for burning/inserting disc I dropped the disc in at the last second.

Seems to be working now for CD's, though I was having a lot of problems with DVD's as well. I'll try a DVD after this with the same method and see if that was the problem.
