HI

I USE NERO 8 ... & EVERY TIME I TRY TO BURN MP3 OR AVI,

IT STARTS TO BURN BUT STOPS & SAYS BURN PROCESS FAILED..

POWER CALIBRATION... OR PLEASE YOU DIFFERENT MEDIA ...!!!

IT NEVER DID THIS BEFORE...!!!!

I HAVE A MASHITA DVD BURNER MODEL UJ - 482D

AS FOR THE MEDIA I HAVE USED DVD + R/RW & DVD - R/RW

EVEN DUAL LAYER OF BOTH FORMATS...

YET I STILL GET THIS ERROR ...... PLEASE YOU DIFFERENT MEDIA !!!

WHAT DO I DO TO FIX THIS.....????

Normally I'd tell you to use other media but you've already done that.

Have you installed some other burning software recently that may be causing problems with Nero? Have you tried software other than Nero?

You might try running the Nero Info Tool, part of the Nero toolkit, to check the capabilities of your burner. Many laptop burners are not dual format.

Might also be worth trying to re-load the firmware.

Some burners are so crappy that you need to feed them 'premium' media in order to get a good burn. Premium media being Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, etc.
