Vote for what you think is the best, all around DVD writer. By doing so, you'll hopefully help those looking to buy a new drive. Once again, I tried to chose original drive designs that are currently available or will be soon.

Feel free to leave comments and an explanation as to why you voted the way you did. Also, if there's a drive you'd like to see added to the poll, let me know.

For reference, here's the top drives from May's poll:

1. Samsung SH-S203B/SH-S203D/SH-S203N/SH-S203P
2. (tied) LG GH22N/GH22L, LG GH22N/GH22L, Pioneer DVR-215/DVR-215D/DVR-S15, Samsung SH-S223F/SH-S223Q

After a month off, the poll is back. To make things more interesting, you can now choose two drives. You can also go back and change your votes if need be.

Well soon you might have to add BD burners, I'm getting the LG supermulti blu with HD read probably tomorrow or the next day. Decided to stimulate the economy with my rebate
I hope it's a good all a rounder, and burns dvd's well too. I do have both flavors of HD so figured I'd better jump before they disappear soon.
As far as regular burners I like my H62n converted now to the 66 and my old 1655, I also use the s203b, it's one of the fastest rippers I've owned with the modded fw installed.

Yeah, I figure its time to make a new BD writer poll. The existing one is kinda old.

Well drive showed up today and I just installed it, I probably could have stuffed it in the last slot on my stacker but replaced my h62/66 with it for now because the cables were there all ready and I'd have to rearrange the whole drive layout to make another SATA drive go.
Now to see if it is a OK investment... :-k
