SATA DVD burner good at reading damaged discs

I buy a lot of used DVDs and rip them to my media server. Being used a lot of the DVDs have scratches and other damage. So I'm looking for a DVD burner that is good at reading damaged DVDs at a reasonable speed. I'm not so concerned with features like Lightscribe or the quality of the DVD burns. Any suggestions? I've read that the Liteon iHAS424-98 and the Sony Optiarc AD-7260S are good drives.

They're essentially the same drive. The iHAS424-98 is a rebadged AD-7261S (7260S w/ LightScribe).

I've always found MediaTek based drives to be best at reading damaged discs. Something like the Lite-On iHAS424-08 (if you can find one) or iHAS524 would probably work well.
