Best pair of drives

So I am doing a new build and was wondering what everyone thinks would be a great one-two punch for drives. Looking to get a blu-ray burner and another drive that would be used mainly for writing to CD-R. Feel free to throw in all-time drives as I don't mind searching around for discontinued older drives. I prefer sata, but can do IDE if needed. I already have the following drives in other computers I can grab if needed:

Blu-ray

LG GGC-H20L

DVD

Pioneer 212-bk
Samsung SH-203B
Lite-on ihas120
LG GSA-h21l

If you're looking for a new Blu-ray drive, I'd take a look at one of 12x or 14x drives from LG. They're probably the best bang for your buck right now.

Do you really need a second drive just to write CD-R? If so, the drives you have now will probably do fine.

I guess that is really the question, isn't it? Do I need a second drive or will the 14x LG do it all for me? What I will mainly do with the second drive is DAE and create music CD's. Of course, if I move any drives I will need to buy a replacement, so with that in mind, I am still looking to buy something.

The LG rips audio CD's at 40x. There are faster drives out there, but in the end you're only saving a small amount of time.
