Buy the LTD-166S. AOpen hardware sucks, blows discs.

Either one is good. Pioneer and Lite-On makes some of the best DVD drives out there. If you want a cool slot-loading one, then get the AOpen model.

DITTO !! I got it flashed into a Pioneer/region free/made in Japan !

Lite-On 166S or Aopen DVD 1640 Pro-A (philips i think)
