Pioneer Slot Loading DVD Drives

Does Pioneer have any plans to release a newer version of their slot loading DVD-Rom's with more features than their previous drives? I know after the 105S, Pioneer came out with the 106S that came with some improvements and a more quiet drive in general.

Why don't you buy a JLMS (LiteOn) XJ-HD166S (former LTD-166S)? It kicks ass

I already have the Pioneer 105S and was wondering if Pioneer was coming out with anything new since I really like the slot loading drive that I already own.
