And have their own MID codes....

My guess is Prodisc or Ritek, but I have no confirmation on either. If someone can post some serials and a pic of the hub I can probably find out.

Prodisc, and infodisc (specially infodisc korea a.k.a. new star digital) make media for LG. But it looks like it's less and less prodisc is used these days.

I remember some 8x LG-media, it burned awful with a LG-writer

LG branded media is often given out free with LG writers. Some of the earlier 8x Prodisc media did not burn on the very LG writers they were sold on. I've heard complaints from people who got the media free with their LG writers. They ended up with coasters instead. It only happened with certain batches of the discs, apparently, but it should tell you enough about the quality of the media.

I've also had some LG 8x DVD+R media that has a SONYD11 media code. My guess is these are either made by Daxon or Leaddata. However, the packaging for these is distinctly different (black and white instead of pink/orange).

My guess is the ones sold by RIMA in your link above are Infodisc Korea made, as RJW suggests. Have heard reports of the 16x LG discs being made by them.

I quite enjoy using the ProdiscR03 LG branded media I tried last year, it's cheap, burns good and surviving well so far - it's hugely underrated.

In the past I think I´m the only one here who likes Prodisc-media and prefer it when I compare with Ritek :o

Maybe ;)

The fact is my old CD-R-media from Prodisc was much better when compared with Ritek Silver 8x.
