spiks in trt in cd speed ?

HI.I did this scan and would like to know how these are. the disc,Quality one looks ok but not sure about the trt with all the up an down spikes. can you ex plane what is good or bad and what i should look for in reading the graph and it's numbers.any help with will be appreciated THANKS ,XBILL A noob

Were you doing something heavy on your system while running that Transfer Rate Test?

If not, then I'd say that is a very poor result, and I wouldn't be surprised if that disc is unreadable in some other drives.

In order to judge the quality of a disc "good", you need a good Disc Quality scan in addition to a smooth Transfer Rate Test. I very rarely see such bad TRTs in a LiteOn drive, except for DVDs burned at high speeds in NEC/Optiarc drives (re-linking points are the culprit).

I suggest you redo the TRT and if you get the same result, then your disc is bad or your drive is bad.
