Hello!

After about 5 years it´s time for me to cheack my older burned media to be sure it´s still ok :-?

The question is: What drive is better for that?

Actually, the drivse with scan-function I have atm is Benq DW-1640 and Liteon SOHR 5238S

What u think it´s better for that?

BTW, I have to scan data-CD-R and SVCD/VCD

Thanks :)

But I have a question, I did some scans and the graph lokks like that

What means "Errors" in that case? Unreadable parts of data? The drive copy the files without any probs on HDD

I've never really figured out what those errors are. I've had some discs that cause them every time I run a test so its most likely a disc and/or writing quality issue.

Does it do that every time you run the test?

Mostly, but not every time

And the error isn´t mentioned in the saved screenie or .txt

I tried to scan with Nero DVD-speed, but I get error-messages at the start
