Plextor Launches M5 Pro Xtreme SSD In Korea

Plextor launched their M5 Pro Xtreme SSD in Seoul, Korea of all places. Aside from a few grainy pictures, there aren't a lot of details. Supposedly more info is coming tomorrow.

Looks like M5 Pro owners will be able to upgrade for free with a firmware update.

Firmware will be available next week. From their Facebook page:

It will be online early next week. There is a last minute change to the format it will take. Our apologies we didn't have time to stop this going up before we got the news.

Not seeing a big improvement with this firmware. Maybe that's why they gave it away for free?
