Yes, this is useful. I just got back on cdrlabs and saw it. I downloaded it and tried it out. Seems very useful.

OK so i'll keep updating.

new version of CDCheck: 3.1.9.0 (December 6, 2005)

Comments:
This version fixes a bug in checking hash files and adds two new features - command line compare and correct display of 1x,2x.. speed for DVDs.

Bug description:
File present in a hash file but not found during checking was not reported if it alphabetically followed a newly added file (that is a file not present in any hash file). However bug did not effect results when your checking completed without warnings or errors.

Changes:
+ Adds additional compare options to command line parameters
- fixes error messages when determining media type for speed display (introduced in 3.1.8.1)
Changes already in 3.1.8.1 beta:
+ adds Compare option to command line parameters
* reports speed 1x,2x... for DVDs correctly and not with CD 1x,2x speed
- file present in hash file but not found was not reported if it alphabetically followed a newly added file (=file not present in a hash file); this bug however did not affect checkings that reported no warnings or errors.
- asks for synchronization every 30 days (as was intended already before)

new version of CDCheck: 3.1.10.0 (January 26, 2006)

Comments:
This version removes reporting of "error;win32;The request is not supported."
This error is otherwise part of normal device recognition, so the "error" is now processed silently.
