PAL DVD to NTSC?

So...I think this is the right forum to ask about PAl to NTSC conversion.

Specifically, I have a few European PAL DVDs which I need to make into NTSC DVDs, 'cause some of my family and friends bought fancy players, and now they can't play non-NTSC disks. The disks are coded for all regions, so that's not a problem.

Now, I understand that I probably need to re-author the disks. Any suggestions on how to do that with the minimum effort (the quicker, the better)?

TIA,

-Ig.

1) Rip using DVD Decrypter
2) Re-encode using TMPEGenc (the new Nero Vision Express might be able to do too).

The downside: TMPEGenc is slow. I'm not aware of any method that's going to be quick. Too bad DVDShrink can't do it :)
