CD identification program?

I remember seeing somewhere that there's a program out there that will identify the manufacturer of a CD-R/RW for you (regardless of what's on the package).

I thought it was called CD Info or CDR Info but couldn't find it in a search for either one. I turned up a program for Plextor drives though, but I have an LG.

Does someone know what I'm talking about? Could you post a link?

Thanks!

Hi Fraoch,
You can try Nero Infotool or Nero CD-DVD Speed. Both are good programs and available as free download on http://www.cdspeed2000.com

See ya later,

Oops, sorry, I meant identifying the disc itself, not the drive.

I did find CD-R ATIP Reader here (http://w510.tm.odessa.ua/soft/cdr_atip/) but it's not free and it can't find my WNASPI32.DLL, even though it's located in my Ahead (Nero) folder.

Dear Fraoch,
The tools that I have mentioned above give you information about blank media in the drive. In Nero Infotool there is a different tab for disc and in Nero CD-DVD Speed you get Disc Info under the Extra menu.
See ya soon,
