One of my friends wants to burn a VCD at 720 x 480 resolution in Nero, but he said that Nero would only allow 320x240 resolution. Is there a way to make Nero burn a VCD at the higher resolution? Thanks in advance! :D

I don't have a DVD burner yet so I backed up some movies to SVCD format. For NTSC, the output (MPEG2) resolution is 480 x 480. I had no trouble burning the MPEG2 files out with NERO. However, Nero stuck some funny deal up front that I didn't need, so I mainly used PowerCDRexpress toburn out the SVCDs.

I'm not sure how responsive this answer is to the question. However, it may elicit another question which may lead to a more useful answer.
