Upgrading to new versions of DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink
Posted: Mon Mar 01, 2004 12:24 amJust a quick question, can you just install over any current versions you may have, or should you uninstall old versions first? Thanks!

Posted: Mon Mar 01, 2004 7:54 amI agree, just install over the old version. But, make sure you're not running the old version when you try reinstalling it.
This just happened to me with DVD Decrypter. When I started DVD Decrypter it informed me that a newer version was available. So, I downloaded and installed it. But, I got an error stating that the install program couldn't delete a file. At first I couldn't figure out the problem, then I realized that I was still running DVD Decrypter (duh), after closing it all was well.
