removing/deleting a user account in WinXP

maybe i'm dense?

i can't figure out how to delete an existing user account in WinXP.

anyone have a clue???

You need to go to control panel/performance and maintenance/administrative tools/computer management/local users and groups/users.

You will see a list of the user accounts which are active and inactive. You can delete and add at you leisure.

i'm not familiar with the whole computer management of WinXP.
i just checked Control Panel -> User Accounts.

You kids and your GUI's. Go to a command prompt and type:

net user username /delete

Log as a administrator and in proceed as myckee says.

Or just go to Start, click your image (mine is the airplane, duh!) click home, then click the user account you want to delete, and then delete.
