Anyone Buy Software from Ebay??

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any experience - good or bad - of buying software off of Ebay. I'm thinking of getting Photoshop CS, which although very expensive, seems to sell on Ebay for under £30. Sounds too good to be true, but is it?

Cheers,
Richard

Absolutely. There's no legit way they could be selling that cheap. It's probably (at BEST) volume license software, at worst (and most likely) totally fake.

"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." :)

Although, I have bought software on eBay before, for very cheap. It was brand new, retail version, shrinkwrapped and all. Then again, it was Quake 3, and this was a couple years after it was released in stores. :P

...my only experience with ebay on software concerned the UK ebay site. I noticed that people were selling nero at a very low price (equiv of 6-7 dollars!) - so I stupidly e-mailed one of the vendors and asked whether what was being sold was the full version and if it came with a serial number. He responded that I didn't need a serial number and that I would receive a bonus disc with 20 programs (all the elby programs, dvdsanta, and a whole bunch of others). This is obviously a con and what is being sold aint legit [-X . Now the reason why I was stupid in e-mailing this vendor is that ever since I sent the e-mail, I am receiving spam from many many vendors wanting to sell me non legit software.
