XP Administrator Problems with ProShow Gold 2.0

Don't know if anyone can help. I recently downloaded and brought the slideshow program ProShow Gold. Basically u download a demo version of the program and then purchase the registration key which unlocks the full program. Since I don't have an internet connection on my PC I downloaded on my Dad's machine and copied the file t my own PC and then unlocked it with the registration key. It all works fine until I go to burn discs, then I get an error message saying that I am 'Using this computer as a non-administrator - PSG must be installed by an administrator to be able to write cds'.
However, I am an administrator and am the only account on my Windows XP machine. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling in safe mode under the 'hidden' Admin account but still I get the same problem. I emailed PSG about the problem but they just seem to be ignoring me. Too make things worse, I did try entering the registration key on my Dad's machine and I can burn fine on there. Is the problem something to do with downloading on his machine and then copying to mine? Is there anyway around this? I don't really want my DVD writer installed on his machine. Does it sound like I'm doing something wrong? Since the program works 100% on his machine I can only assume my PC is the problem rather than the software. I've never had any problem installing any other software though.
Sorry for the length of this post, but this is getting so frustrating.
Happy Xmas/New Year
Richard

no, sounds like it's a bug with the software or some software incompatibility on your machine.

keep bugging them for support.
