Hi!

I need help removing a defective key in registry with Windows Xp Home. I am familiar with Registry and editing it, but this is new:

I have a key that tells error opening key when trying to access it. The key key seems to be damaged somehow and i need to remove it but canoot do ANYTHING with it, not even view it. Is there any way to force a "broken key" away from registry? Thanks in advance!

Thank you Eliminator.

But sorry to say: no help. I´ve tried RegCleaner and several other registry editor/cleaner programs, but that does not change the fact, that the key is totally unusable and i don´t think that any program that cleans or edits the registry changes this thing. These programs do find this key and i can dlete it, but it does not disappear from registry.

This problem needs something more powerfull to be solved...
