Looking for a CD or DVD Media Check Utility

I'am looking for a stand alone Media Check Utility that will tell me various things about blank media such as Manufacture. I'am using several different burners and would prefer a stand alone app thats not dependent upon having a certain type burner like the LiteOn utility. Thanks...
