Does anyone know how to take a video clip and make it into a .gif file so it can be used as an avatar?

nice. cool avatar.
except:
that's 160x120 pixels, some 350K
the regulations for avatars are 80x80 pixels, 6K.
any videoclip will make a huge avatar (size in K). not good!

I saw some guy in another forum who had that Kobe dunk as either his avatar or his signature, so I was wondering if there was anyway to make my own but I guess not since it would be too big in size.

would take up too much bandwidth.
