What happened to the Sony software update for Record Now?

Looking at the Sony support site for the 500A, there is no longer any mention of an update to Record Now DX in mid November. Is there an unpublicised link? Or are they just hoping we have forgotten?

TIA

I downloaded the RecordNow DX upgrade from them awhile back, i did check again before posting this and it does seem that you are correct, I can't find it anymore on their site. Luckily I saved it and backed it up on a cd. It's 14.3 megs

start recordnow, on the wizard click HELP, then go to check for updates, it should update through there as well.

If you are referring to the Stomp Record Now Max update, that doesn't work for me when upgrading Veritas Record Now. It wants the original install CD, and won't accept the Sony one. Also when I click on update under Help, it comes back with "All of your powered by Veritas products are currently up to date".

I'd still like to know whether the updated Recordnow DX is any different from Recordnow MAX. Anyone?

As far as I can tell, RecordNow DX is exactly the same as Stomp Record Now Max. In fact when I installed DX, it wanted me to uninstall Stomp. So it looks like Stomp is simply a rebadged version of RN DX.
