Whoever it is can easily hit the Image button at the top of every page and find an email adress with which he can directly contact the CDRLabs staff without all this third- and fourth-party silliness.

Well, lets see if it works today. Of course I could hit that button and get a direct e-mail address. Of course I did. And two days later still no response, and still couldn't post. When no other way gets through, its not silliness. I couldn't even log-off. The only response I could get to previewing a message, trying to post a message, reply to a message, or attempting to log-off was a message saying invalid_session. Since I can preview this post finally, I assume its going to post. I finally deleted the cookie for the site, and that seemed to have been causing all the trouble, even preventing me from posting.

Joker: Sorry about the late reply (though I never got an email from you...) phpBB 2.0.4 is implementing a new method of security, so if you have old cookies from the phpBB 2.0.3, you could/will run into problems. As Joker pointed out, the first thing you should try when having problems like this is to clear your cookies. You don't have to get rid of all your cookies, just the ones for cdrlabs.com.

The contact address should be talkabout@cdrlabs.com, right? Oh well. Still having problems with cookies though. I can no longer keep automatically logged-in, even though I accept all CDRLabs cookies. I have to log on each time I visit, even though I click that "keep me logged on" check box when logging on. Even if I open a forum or message in a new window instead of in the same window, the board sees me only logged-on in that first window, and not in the second ( I have to log-in all over again to see what posts are new or to reply). Strange. And there's the same old problem I've had for over a year, I can't view more than 3-4 pages (any change in posts, forums, etc) without the site refusing to load any more pages. I've never been able to figure it out, and neither has anyone else, and its only on this board, and there are other phpBB boards I visit without problems. The only solution remains to close all IE windows and start over. View 3-4 more threads, close everything, and start again.

This probably won't be a popular suggestion, but it could just be your computer. I've seen a lot of messed up Windows/IE installs in my day.

Agreed, that's what I do now.

Brought this thread back from the dead as it was previously mentioned in a topic.
