The forums were down for a few hours last night *Eastern Standard Time* while we rebuilt the phpBB search index. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I was wondering why the forums were down, I sent Ian an email and he told me what socheat was up to here.

It's reassuring that it wasn't the acolytez again. Will we see any differences due to the rebuilt search index?

Yeah, searches work again. :wink:

When we upgraded to 2.0.8, only new posts were being pulled in the search results. Rebuilding the index forced phpBB to go over all the old posts as well.
