Wanted: DVD Combo Drive (dvd reader/cdr writer)

Building a system for my syster, want a fast cd writer / dvd reader to go with the dvd burner (which isnt a fast cd writer)
All brands considered.

If the system already has the DVD burner just get the
Lite On 52/34/52 from New Egg for $38 delivered.
Thats assuming your in the states.

Yeah, thats what i was thinking except, i thought that it would be good to use the dvd combo drive for reading and just use the burner for burning.

You'll have to pay extra for the DVD rom feature but here is an
example of the Lite On 48/24/48/16. You can't beat Lite On for quality/price.
It's $54 but it will do everything she'll need.
The extra money for the 52/24/52/16 is ~$15 more.

yeah 15 bux for 4x more is what, 7 seconds difference lol. yeah that sounds like a good deal... now if anyone has one they want to sell me for $25, let me know

Where have you seen the 52x24x52x16x drive? I didn't know Lite-On had released such a drive yet.

yeah i think he might have gotten confused with their 52x burner with no dvd support. i just looked at liteon's site and didnt see such an animal
