I may have a bunch of media, mainly DVDs since the CD-Rs wont fetch much, to sell.

I want to get printable DVD media, which is the only reason I am selling most of the rest.
I might keep some for my home DVD recorder.

I will have the following, all NEW spindles (still unopened).

- 225 Memorex 8X DVD+R (only bought one week ago): Nine 25 packs.

- 300 Fuji 8X DVD+R (Made in Japan by Taiyo Yuden): Eight 25 packs and two 50 packs

- 75 TDK 4X DVD+R: Three 25 packs - DOWN TO 50 TDK NOW

If anyone is interested, let me know before I put them up on ebay.

I would suggest mentioning whether the Fuji are made in Taiwan or Japan

Good point. ;)
I just double checked the Fuji spindles in my closet - I thought they were all TY, since I checked them when I received them.

I am happy to report that they are all made in Japan (i.e. Taiyo Yuden).

If only they were DVD-R I would make an offer For most of them. I just refuse to burn DVD+ even though my burners can booktype them.

No problem.

I am curious, though, why you don't burn to +R?
I assume it is compatiblity since you mention booktyping capability.
Most of the newer DVD players play them fine, even without booktyping.

I'll probably put them up on ebay sometime this week.
I will probably list them as five or six bundles, to avoid having to ship 20 different packages. :)

I like the fact I have never ran into a dvd player that wont read a DVD-R since day one when I started burning DVD's when they were first availible.
Dont have to worry about booktype or anything.DVD-R came first so I give them my money instead. And the DVD+RW allliance I just dont like them so I dont want to support them. I do own a 10 pack of Verbatim DVD+RW that I use for temporary storage from computer to xbox but thats about it. Only reason I use them is that was all that was availible in rewriteable format when I bought them a few years ago and it was cool they were blazing fast at 2.4X instead of 1X that my DVD-RW's are.
edit: almost forgot about DVDRAM which is how I got started into DVDs. DVD-RAM is cool.
Must resist Pioneer 110 and its 5X RAM for the 16X RAM on the NEC 4550. #-o

Looks like I'm getting to this party kind of late. Any of the Fuji MIJ left? Do they work OK in the BenQ DW1640?

you mentioned some cds, what are they, if you still have 'em?

I still have it all as far as the DVD media is concerned, other than one 25 pack of TDKs that I have been using for my burning needs, since I didn't get around to listing any of it yet; will probably list it all tomorrow and be done with it.

The CD-Rs are a variety of brands (I'll have to check the box I am storing them in and post an update with specifics).

I would think they should work fine with the Benq, since it is a quality burner and the Fuji MIJ media quality speaks for itself.

Let me know if you're interested today, since I want to try to list a bunch of stuff tomorrow since I have been procrastinating too long; the weekend is a perfect time for me to list it.

Thanks.
