April 13-19, Office Depot has Verbatim DataLife Plus 50 pack discs for $22 for 2 50 packs (its actually $22 for one, and get one free instantly). The discs are the SuperAzo dye discs, some marked as made in Taiwan, some made in Mexico. That's pretty good for no rebate, and good discs also.

I wonder about the Made in Mexico discs. Kodak used to make discs in Mexico, and they got out of the disc business. I wonder if this is the same plant under new ownership? Anyone know? I had the Made in Taiwan discs from one of the previously anounced hot deals at Target a while back, so I stuck with those as I haven't had a singe error (as detected by Nero CD Speed) on any of them so far.

I picked up a couple of spindles Joker. Thanks again for the tip.

My spindles were both made in Taiwan, and have very good quality:

I have used the ones made in Mexico before, and found them to have even higher quality, comparable to TY:

Superb Quality.
Verbatim DLP 48X made in Mexico, right?

Yes, but I wouldn't complain about the ones made in Taiwan. They are also great quality. Besides, I only have the one spindle made in Mexico, so I can't claim that all of them will be that good. I might have hit on a particularly good batch, or they might all be that good. I don't have enough experience to make a broad generalization.
