6 GBytes on one CD-R?? :o Woo-Hoo!! Step aside, DVD-R/+R, CD-R is king again!!

I assume you mean 80-minute/700-MiBytes, right? Kidding and minor typo aside, that is quite a good deal. 100 discs for $10 and no rebate. I may have to take advantage even though I don't need any. These discs are made by Ritek, and the spindle of 40x 80-minute/700-MiByte Maxell discs I bought worked quite well in my LTR-48246S. Just don't get the 74-minute/650-MiByte gold colored ones that Inertia and Ian warn about in the Staples Hot Deal post this week:

Might have to go to both and get some media just becuase :) I certainly could use more dvd-r and rw media. I'm still not sold on the plus but I can use it. I don't think the + works with older dvd players and readers as well.
Hopefully BB has restocked, they had tons of Fuji+media but no - that I could see yesterday.
I'm still waiting for some 120 gig HD's to show up for my raincheck from the other smokin deal BB had on those last week ;)

That Maxell/Ritek media seems to be real good stuff. I got 100 for 9.99 and it has tested out to a max of 10 in the c-1 error department with my 48x Liteon and even better with the 52 and the Sony 500a. It also does this at the max speed for each drive too.
The top coat is pretty strong also, looks silver on the media side kinda like the CMC stuff.
Anyways very low error rate and burns at top speed :)
