I stopped by at my local BB yesterday - aisle full of 50 pack Fuji Made in Japan (TY) CD-R's, and spindles of CMC 100 pack Fuji CD-R's as well.

Also - 25 pack 2.4X DVD+R for $29.99 after rebates.

Can someone tell me when Fuji started to use CMC disc?

I've been away from the CD-R game far too long.

I thought it was Prodisc, not CMC.

Not all best buys have this sale. Mine doesn't, I'm in the southwest US.

What were the final prices after IR and MIR's for the 50-pack and 100-pack?

www.bestbuy.com shows only the MIR prices. And the circulars on the website only says upto 40% off after IR and MIR.

Well, I was confused to at what the prices should be. They had the 100pk marked $26 - 6MIR. I took it to the counter to have the price checked, and it came up $26. I showed them the 40% off, where it clearly states "markdowns taken from regular prices".

I got 40% off $26 = $16.20 + Tax, for the 100pk.
Plus a $6 MIR. :)

Best Buy needs to educate their salespeople, and start marking all their sales products on the shelves to clearly show the final discounted price!

CompUSA needs to do the same (i.e. educate [some of] the salespeople)
when they have those sales where you only get the price if you bring in the ad.
The first time I did it, to get a TDK 40X USB 2.0 CD-RW for $50 AR a year ago, they weren't aware of the ad at all...
Maybe things have changed...

Okay, I went back tonight again to the same BB, and they said $26 was already marked down, minus the $6 MIR, which should give me %40 off. This is B.S.!!! I think the 100pk of Fuji has always sold at BB, at around $26-$30.

The tags on the shelf DO NOT indicate to the customer, if the price of $26 is already discounted a percentage or not. I'm going to email and phone the corporate office on this stuff.

The web site lists the Fuji 100-pack regularly at $34 and $26 marked down, before any MIR's. My question is, why would you go back when you already got a 100-pack for $16 and some change before any rebates? If I get a steal like that, I'm not going to go back and push my luck. :)

BestBuy is by no means my favorite store, but I am not sure what you expect to complain about?
The final price is indeed 40% off, exactly as advertised.
Nobody said the tag has to say the old price.
Usually at BB the tag has the sale price and says "as Advertised" on it.

If you're saying it didn't say that it was a sale price, then it still doesn't change the fact that you got the 40% off the regular price.
